The Short Version
We treat the physiology. We do not replace your therapist.
This page is deliberately narrow. Depression is a medical and psychological condition, and it belongs with a physician and a mental health professional. What we can contribute is work on the nervous system side: autonomic regulation, sleep architecture, and the chronic stress response.
For many patients that is the part nobody has addressed. Sleeping properly and not living in a low-grade fight-or-flight state does not resolve depression, but it changes how much capacity you have to work on it.

How we work with your care team
What a course of care looks like.
Your prescriber stays in charge
We do not adjust, taper, or advise against psychiatric medication. Ever. That conversation is with the clinician who prescribed it.
Target the stress response
Treatment is aimed at shifting autonomic balance out of sustained sympathetic activation. Most patients describe the sessions themselves as deeply calming.
Fix sleep first where possible
Sleep is the highest-leverage target. We work on it directly and give you a short, practical set of changes rather than a lecture.
Know the limits
If you are in crisis, this is not the right first call. Contact your physician, or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. We will always say this plainly.
Cost, Insurance and Visits
Mood, Stress and Sleep Support cost and insurance in The Villages.
What sets the cost
Mood and sleep care is acupuncture based, with Calmvalera point injections or a supplement when they fit. Acupuncture may be covered by your plan.
Insurance
It depends on the therapy. Acupuncture visits are covered by many insurance plans and we check yours before the first appointment. Shockwave, laser, injections, peptides and NAD+ are self pay, and you will know the price of each before you agree to it.
How many visits
Weekly visits for the first month, then spacing out as sleep and stress settle. We work alongside your mental health provider, never instead.
Your first 20 minute consultation is free, and no referral is needed. Call 352-430-2720. Insurance and payment details.
