Laser Therapy · LLLT and Kineon

Laser therapy for
pain and tissue repair.

Low level laser therapy delivers specific wavelengths of light into tissue to give your cells more energy to repair. It is painless, drug free, and works underneath the pain rather than over it.

How It Works

Energy where the repair happens.

Laser therapy, also called photobiomodulation, sends red and near infrared light to a depth where it reaches the mitochondria inside your cells. Mitochondria are where the body produces ATP, the fuel every cell uses to function and repair.

When that light is absorbed by an enzyme called cytochrome c oxidase, mitochondria produce more ATP. Cells in the treated area suddenly have more energy to do their job. The result is faster tissue repair, lower inflammation, better local circulation, and reduced pain signaling.

We use both clinical low level laser and the Kineon targeted laser and LED system, matching the tool to the depth and location of the problem.

What To Expect

A typical session.

01

Targeted placement

We position the laser over the affected joint, tendon, or nerve. You may feel a gentle warmth, nothing more.

02

Short and comfortable

A session takes about five to fifteen minutes depending on the area. There are no needles and nothing to recover from.

03

Back to your day

You leave and carry on normally. Laser pairs well with acupuncture and shockwave, and we often combine them in one visit.

04

A series for best results

Because the effect is cumulative, most conditions respond best to a series of sessions. We will recommend a plan based on your goals.

Common Questions

Laser therapy, answered.

No. Most patients feel nothing or a mild warmth at the treatment site. It is one of the most comfortable therapies we offer.
Yes. Low level laser does not heat or damage tissue the way surgical lasers do. It is well studied and well tolerated. We will review your history to confirm it is appropriate for you.
Laser light is focused and penetrates deeper, which makes it well suited to joints, tendons, and nerves. LED covers a broader area at a gentler intensity. We choose based on what we are treating, and sometimes use both.
It depends on the condition. Acute issues may need only a few sessions, while chronic problems benefit from a longer series. We will give you a realistic plan up front.
Laser therapy is a self pay service. We are happy to explain the details when you call.
