Pain Management
Pain management in The Villages, Florida.
Pain that has lasted months does not behave like a fresh injury. It has a driver — irritated tissue, a sensitized nerve, a joint that stopped moving well — and that driver is what we treat.

The Short Version
Chronic pain is a physiology problem, not a willpower problem.
By the time most patients call us, they have already tried rest, over-the-counter anti-inflammatories, and often a round of physical therapy. Some have been offered injections or told surgery is the next step. What is usually missing is a clear answer to why the pain is still there.
We start with that question. An exam tells us whether the pain is coming from the tissue itself, from a nerve that has become sensitized, or from a joint and the muscles guarding it. The answer decides the treatment, and it decides what we can honestly promise.

How we work
What a course of care looks like.
A real exam first
Twenty minutes of history and hands-on testing. We want to know what makes it worse, what makes it better, how you sleep, and what you have already tried. That is what separates a nerve problem from a tendon problem.
Treat the driver, not the map
If the driver is tissue, we use tools that change tissue: shockwave, laser, injections into the tight structure. If the driver is a sensitized nervous system, acupuncture and nerve-focused care come first.
Restore movement while it settles
Pain relief that does not come with better movement tends not to hold. We give you the small amount of loading and mobility work that keeps the improvement in place between visits.
A checkpoint, not an open plan
Most patients know inside four to six visits whether this is working. We say so at that point either way.
Cost, Insurance and Visits
Pain Management cost and insurance in The Villages.
What sets the cost
Pain management here is a plan built from acupuncture, injections, shockwave and laser, each priced separately. There is no monthly program fee and no medication to refill.
Insurance
It depends on the therapy. Acupuncture visits are covered by many insurance plans and we check yours before the first appointment. Shockwave, laser, injections, peptides and NAD+ are self pay, and you will know the price of each before you agree to it.
How many visits
Most plans start weekly and taper as the pain driver is addressed. A checkpoint at four to six visits tells us whether to continue, adjust or refer.
Your first 20 minute consultation is free, and no referral is needed. Call 352-430-2720. Insurance and payment details.
