Microneedling
Microneedling uses your body's natural repair response to rebuild collagen and improve the texture, tone, and firmness of your skin. It is a clinical treatment, performed with clinical care.
How It Works
Microneedling creates a series of tiny, precise channels in the surface of the skin using fine needles. These micro channels are small enough to close quickly, but they signal the body that repair is needed.
In response, the skin ramps up production of collagen and elastin, the two proteins responsible for firmness and elasticity. As that new collagen forms, the skin remodels itself, which softens fine lines, refines texture, and improves the appearance of scarring and pores.
The micro channels also allow targeted serums to reach deeper layers of the skin than they otherwise could, which we use to support the result.
What It Treats
What To Expect
The area is cleansed and a numbing cream is applied so the treatment stays comfortable.
We move the device evenly across the area. Most patients feel light pressure and vibration. A full face takes a short time.
Expect some redness, similar to a mild sunburn, for one to two days. We will give you clear aftercare instructions.
Because new collagen takes time to form, results develop over weeks. A series of sessions produces the most noticeable change.
Aftercare. Keep the skin clean and protected from sun, skip active or harsh products for a few days, and stay hydrated. We will walk you through everything before you leave.
