Acupuncture Injections
Acupuncture point injection therapy combines the precision of acupuncture with regenerative and anti inflammatory injectables. By delivering the right compound directly to the point that needs it, we extend and amplify the relief beyond what needles alone provide.
How It Works
A standard acupuncture needle stimulates a point mechanically. Point injection adds a small amount of a targeted injectable at that same location, which keeps the area active longer than a needle alone and delivers an anti inflammatory or regenerative effect right where it is needed.
We select the injectable based on the problem in front of us, whether that is nerve pain, swelling, muscle spasm, or tension. The volume is small, the needle is fine, and the placement is precise.
These are not the homeopathic curiosities the term sometimes implies. We use them as regenerative and anti inflammatory tools, chosen for the clinical job they do.
The Injectables
Each injectable is selected for what it addresses clinically. Here is how we use them, grouped by what they do.
Used for nerve related pain, including sciatica and radiating pain, where the goal is to quiet an irritated nerve.
Used for headaches and nerve related pain in the head and neck, including tension type headaches.
An anti inflammatory choice for soft tissue injury, swelling, and acute strains and sprains.
Directed at muscle spasm, cramping, and tension that limits comfortable movement.
Supports patients whose pain is tangled up with stress, restlessness, and poor sleep.
Used to support immune resilience, particularly during seasonal challenges.
Directed at cold and flu type symptoms and general immune support.
Used to support the body's natural detoxification and metabolic processes.
What To Expect
Based on your assessment, we select the compound and the points that fit your condition.
A very fine needle delivers a small volume at each point. The process is quick and most patients tolerate it easily.
There is no downtime. You may notice mild tenderness at the injection sites, which settles quickly.
We note how long your relief lasts and adjust the plan to build on it visit over visit.
Aftercare. Keep the injection sites clean, avoid heavy strain on the area for the rest of the day, and stay hydrated. Mild soreness for a day is normal. Call us if anything concerns you.
